To help make travelling with us even simpler, we've introduced a mobile timetable service. Not only is this better for the environment (fewer printed timetables means less paper), it means that whenever you've got your mobile, you've got your timetable!
Our mobile timetable service is supported by around 85% of mobile telephones and a full list of compatible devices can be found here.
If you would like to use this service , please follow the instructions below:
How to download our mobile timetable service
- Text 'NXEC timetable' to 60030 (your standard network rate applies)
- We'll send you a text containing a link to the application download
- Follow the link contained within the text - this connects to the internet and the download will begin
- As the application is downloading, you'll receive one or more messages asking if you would like to proceed
- The download will automatically deliver the correct version of the application optimised for your phone and the current National Express East Coast timetable
- The download takes around 30-60 seconds to complete (this will vary with network conditions). It is important you don't try and interrupt the download - it will need to start from the beginning if the internet connection is lost
- You'll see a message once the download is complete, indicating where the application is stored (usually 'Applications' or 'Games')
How to use it once it has downloaded
- Open the 'NXEC timetable' application (this will be from either your 'Applications' or 'Games' folder)
- Because the timetable is viewed offline, you can look at it at any time for free (plus, you don't need to worry about having a signal)
- You'll be directed to the mobile timetable 'Search' facility, which provides the ability to filter timetable data by origin and destination, weekdays, Saturdays or Sundays and time (defaults to option closest to current time)
- The 'NXEC timetable' application will then return a set of results (or an error message if a train cannot be found) based on the search parameters entered
- The 'Help' and 'Save as default' functionality is also included within the options selection

Your use of the Timetable to Mobile and any reliance you place on it is at your own risk. NXEC Trains Ltd shall have no liability for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect you suffer as a result on relying on any fact or statement which is provided to be incorrect. Please note that display of any service in the Timetable to Mobile is not a guarantee that the service will run to time or indeed operate at all.
Your mobile phone number may be stored by the system, but will not be used for any purpose other than provision of Timetable to Mobile updates and analysis or usage for the purpose of improving the service. It will not be provided to any third parties.
Please note that disruption on the route can change train times. Please check before you travel.
